About the role
We're hiring a senior level designer with real battle royale experience to own GEAR's map. In a BR, the map is the product - pacing, sightlines, vehicle routes, loot distribution. You'll be the dedicated owner of all of it, with full autonomy on iteration.

Own a BR map end to end - layout, balance, pacing, the whole thing.
Vehicular BR is rare - you'll shape mechanics most LDs never get to touch.
Direct iteration loop with engineering and art; no map-design-by-committee.
Your work goes live to a global launch in 2026.
What you will do
Own the GEAR map: layout, sightlines, and spatial flow.
Design and tune the shrinking play-zone pacing.
Plan vehicle traversal flow across the entire map.
Balance loot distribution and density.
Design landmarks and POIs that read at speed.
Run structured playtests and iterate on map balance data.
