About the role

We are looking for a hybrid engineer who can work across UE5 gameplay systems and the backend live-services layer. You'll own vehicle physics, combat, abilities, matchmaking, and progression - the systems that decide how the game feels minute to minute.

Why this role

Wide scope: gameplay one day, backend the next - no narrow lane.
Direct ownership of the four primary vehicles' feel and balance.
Ship a real, global launch in 2026 - not a perpetual prototype.
Small, senior team - your decisions land in the game, not in a backlog.

What you will do

Build and tune vehicle physics - input smoothing, surface detection, camera response.
Own combat and damage systems across all vehicle classes.
Fix the current ability and loot system - including the open issue where bots never activate loot abilities.
Build matchmaking, lobbies, and player progression on the backend.
Stand up live-service APIs, leaderboards, and persistence.
Tune each of the four primary vehicles for distinct feel and balance.
Drive day-to-day gameplay bug-fixing and feature delivery.

What we offer

Competitive salary - based on experience and interview.
Remote-first - work from anywhere in MENA, South Asia, or beyond.
Real ownership - small, senior team, no committees, your work ships.
Direct line to leadership and visible impact on a real global launch.
Equipment and software covered.
